I’m guessing you do too, right? RIGHT?
Ok, now that that has been established, I can share these babies with you 🙂
Oh, and did I mention they taste just like a Reese’s peanut butter cup?
‘Cause they do. Seriously.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Bites
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 3/4 cup peanut butter (I used creamy Peter Pan)
- 1/2 to 1 cup powdered sugar (start small then add more as you go, it really depends onhow sweet you like your desserts)
- chocolate chips (eyeball it, maybe 3/4 a cup?)
In a food processor, combine the butter, graham crumbs, peanut butter and sugar. Pulse it a few times to really combine the ingredients and break down the crumbs even more. They provide texture, but shouldn’t be chunky. Spread the mixture into an 8×8 pan. It will be thin, these are bites after all! Then, melt your chocolate chips on low in the microwave until it reaches a smooth and spreadable consistency. Add a dollop of Crisco if it’s too thick. Using an off-set spatula, spread the chocolatey goodness over the peanut butter mixture. Chill for 1 hour. Cut into bites, or heck, 4×4 squares if you want, and enjoy!
SO, did they taste like mini- Reese’s? Let me know!
